INTENSIVE
DRIVING
COURSES
Is it the
best way for
you?
Experience
tells us it
is wiser to
take
frequent one
or two hour
lessons,
i.e. every
other day
rather than
cram all you
need to
learn into a
week or so.
It is a fact
that
learning is
more
positive
when taken
in small
`bites` and
information
and
development
of skills
are more
likely to be
retained.
There are
limits to
how much the
human brain
can accept;
After 4
hours or so
learning
ceases,
headaches
and
despondency
set in.
For some
however,
this is not
practical
due to
personal
commitments
and an
intensive
course is
the only
option. If
you have yet
to pass your
theory test
then you
should take
regular
lessons
until you
have, then
book the
appropriate
course.
What to do
next
We will send
you an
application
form asking
for all the
information
needed to
book your
test, such
as your
Theory Test
Pass
Certificate
details and
your UK
Provisional
Driving
License
Details and
full Postal
Address, we
will also
ask for a
none
refundable
deposit of
£150.00
which is
part of the
total course
fees.
As soon as
we have
received
your
application
we will book
your driving
test to suit
you. (Please
note that
different
test centres
have varying
waiting
times
between 2 to
7 weeks) You
will be
contacted by
your trainer
who will
arrange your
course and
pick up
point.
What happens
during the
course?
If you live
more than
about 10
minutes
drive from
your chosen
test centre
it is
advisable to
make your
own way to a
pre arranged
pick up
point to
meet your
trainer
(i.e. the
train/bus
station) to
avoid
wasting
precious
tuition time
on
travelling
to and from
home
To
concentrate
for more
than an hour
or so
without a
short break
would be
counter
productive
so always
tell your
trainer if
you want a
short break,
if your
course
involves
more than a
two hour
session then
a break will
be built
into the
session
anyway.
The course
will be
structured
so as to
enhance your
existing
skills and
learn new
ones, it is
vital that
you learn at
your own
pace but you
should keep
in mind the
time
restraints
you have
applied.
Which course
is for you?
Our courses
are designed
to achieve
between 10
and 35 hours
over 5 - 10
days but can
be tailored
to suit you.
Some
students
come to us
almost at
test
standard or
perhaps have
recently
failed a
test and
want to
improve
their skills
before their
next attempt
in which
case our 10
hours course
is often
appropriate;
others are
complete
beginners
and require
30 hours or
more.
Training is
carried out
on a 1:1
only basis
About your
trainer

diary
commitments

which you
choose to
take your
test. In
addition

FREE Theory
test
training CD
ROMs.
If you have
yet to take
the Theory /
Hazard
perception
test we will
send you a
free set of
“Driving
Test Theory”
CD ROMs upon
receipt of
your
reservation
fee; these
are
essential if
you are to
succeed in
passing the
hazard
perception
test element
of the test
in
particular
and are
yours to
keep.
We can
arrange your
practical
test
immediately…
If you have
already
passed the
theory test,
to do this
we will need
your
RESERVATION
DEPOSIT,
DRIVER
NUMBER,
THEORY TEST
CERTIFICATE
NUMBER
and the
DATE YOU
PASSED,
your
FULL POSTAL
ADDRESS
and
DATE OF
BIRTH.
We ask for
these
details when
you call us.
We will then
introduce
you to your
trainer who
will arrange
a one-hour
assessment
lesson, this
is essential
in order to
decide on
the course
which will
offer the
best
possible
chance of a
first time
pass.
It is a fact
that the
older we get
the longer
it takes to
achieve test
standard,
sad but
true! But
you can be
assured that
we will be
honest with
you and not
`rip you
off`. Our
excellent
reputation
is important
to us.
