Applicable to all trainers and instructors and agents of PROGRESSIVE-UK Driver Development & PROGRESSIVE-UK Driving School INSURANCE: PROGRESSIVE-UK is insured for £5 million Public liability and £3 million Professional indemnity All pupils are appropriately insured whilst driving the School training vehicle, (provided the pupil is licensed to drive) and is accompanied by, or under the direction of a Driving Standards Agency A.D.I / P.D.I (Car) or on a driving test with an approved DSA examiner(s)

FEES: All driving lessons are subject to a minimum 2 working days (48 hours) notice of cancellation. The instructor retains the right to charge the full tuition fee if the above notice is not given by the pupil, cancellations by proxy will not normally be accepted. All financial transactions and arrangements with regard to tuition are a matter between the instructor and the pupil.

APPOINTMENTS: The instructor will so far as is reasonably practical ensure pupils receive tuition at the agreed times, all bookings are made on the understanding that the school is not responsible for the postponement of tuition due to traffic conditions, adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown of equipment or any other cause outside of his / her control. If in the opinion of the Instructor, the pupil is under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs the lesson will be cancelled and full payment charged

DISCOUNTS/SPECIAL OFFERS: `beginner` means a person who has taken fewer than 10 hours professional tuition. Free lessons however awarded will be valued at the same rate as the current lesson fees being charged at the time and cannot be taken in conjunction with any other promotion or discounted rate. The instructor may award one free lesson to a current pupil for each individual friend introduced to the instructor on the understanding that the friend is a beginner and not already taking tuition from a PROGRESSIVE-UK Driving School instructor. Free lessons awarded as prizes are subject to instructor availability.

PAYMENTS: Payments can be made by either Cash or Cheque (supported by a cheque guarantee card) or Visa credit/debit cards for payments in excess of £100. No cheques will be accepted from persons under 18 years old. Pre-payment may be made on the understanding no refunds will be given. Intensive driving courses are subject to a none refundable £150 booking deposit fee.

THE DRIVING TEST: The instructor reserves the right to refuse the hire and use of the training, if in the Instructors opinion, the pupil is not at the required standard. The school cannot be held responsible for test appointments being postponed or cancelled by the Driving Standards Agency. Furthermore we are not responsible for any failure of light bulbs etc during the practical test. All bulbs/lights etc will be checked at the test centre prior to the test, with the candidate. If the instructor books a practical test on a pupil’s behalf and does not receive payment, the test may be cancelled by the instructor at any time.

PERSONAL PROPERTY: The instructor accepts no liability for personal property left in any training vehicle.

MOBILE PHONES: For safety reasons all mobile phones must be switched off during a lesson. To comply with law, our Instructor's will not use a mobile phone whilst the vehicle is moving or stationary whilst the engine is running.

SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all training vehicles.
